Mantle rock, kimberlites, lamproites, alnoites, are interesting and visually striking. They are high-pressure, titanium-rich rocks brought to the Earth's surface through volcanic activity. Most contain garnets and sometimes, diamonds. All are very old, roughly 3 billion years or more.
 
All samples are polished slices, enclosed in a 2" specimen case.
