| Field observations and sample collecting are important tools of Geology. With planetary science however, these time-honored tools are at best limited. So, we rely on meteorites to provide us with samples of our solar system. The exotic nature of meteorites however, sometimes causes us to overlook the most important planetary science teaching model we have - Earth. |
